WHAT TO EXPECT
-- Rowers will be placed in a boat (shell), called an “eight," with other new rowers.
-- Coaches will ride alongside the shell in a motorized boat, giving instruction and ensuring safety.
-- Rowers can expect to make new friends while enjoying an outdoor experience on Alum Creek Reservoir.

WHAT TO WEAR/BRING
-- Rowers should wear “spandex” on the bottom, as seats slide up and back causing loose clothing to get caught in them.
-- A t-shirt or a tanktop on top.
-- Socks and slip-off sandals - boats come equipped with shoes so rowers will remove their sandals on the dock.
-- A bottle of water (reusable is preferred)
