ACRC REFUND POLICY
Except as otherwise stated in this ACRC Refund Policy, registration fees are non-refundable. This is primarily due to the fact that upon receipt of registration fees for any given season, ACRC makes expenditures and other financial commitments to accommodate the number of rowers registering for that season. Expenditures and commitments include, among other things, securing the services of coaches and paying them, ordering and paying for equipment, purchasing insurance, and covering certain expenses for the season's regattas. Accordingly, refunds of fees are limited to the following:
FIRST-SEASON ROWERS: A first-season rower is eligible for a refund of first-season registration fees, less a $50 administrative fee, in the event he or she leaves the program within ten (10) days of the first day of the season. The first day of the season is the first Monday after the parent meeting for that season. A first-season rower is any rower who has never rowed during a competitive season with ACRC. A rower is considered to have left the program upon notifying Coach Ferris. After the 10th day, registration fees are non-refundable.
INJURIES: Any rower who suffers a season-ending injury as the result of rowing is eligible for a pro rata refund of that season's registration fees. A physician's note may be required.
